rterials wasn't founded because the world needed another manufacturer of home accessories. It was founded because something was missing. Something more concise in form, uncompromising in execution, and honest in intention.

This brand was born out of the desire to create objects that don’t just decorate, but define. Objects that clearly say: Thought went into this. Precision shaped this. Every detail matters here.

What does rterials stand for?

The name rterials is a deliberate fusion of two inseparable ideas: Art and Materials. Form and substance. rterials stands for the conviction that great design is born where creative intention meets material intelligence. Where wood, metal, or polymers become more than objects – they become expressions. Objects with attitude.

The Team

Robin Arnoldi

Robin is a trained industrial mechanic and mechanical-engineering technician. His experience ranges from machining and construction to photography/videography, product visualization, and software development. His driving force: using technology as a means of expression – precise, functional, and purposefully engineered. He designs, constructs, fabricates, and codes – always with the ambition to create something that doesn't yet exist in this form. His passion lies in detail perfection and in designing products that don’t just work – they feel different. Because true innovation knows no shortcuts.

Jan Tennhardt

Jan is also a trained industrial mechanic and mechanical-engineering technician. His skills range from construction and machining to laser technology and woodworking. For him, technology and craftsmanship are tools of expression, possibilities for design, and a source of passion. He develops, fabricates, and experiments – always with the goal of creating something new that not only functions, but inspires.
